Among all our SME Instrument successes by June 2016, Octopux Consulting is proud to have contributed to the 12th winning SME project prepared by the firm: “LIGHTHOUSE: concentrated thermal solar power directly connected to the heating and cooling systems of buildings at the local level” (SME Instrument – Phase 1, Feasibility Study).
The business champion is the Greek-based SME Builders C and D. The proposal was evaluated with 13,62 points out of 15, with a total awarded EU grant (70%) of 50.000 € within a total budget of 71.429 €. The project consists in the implementation of a Business Feasibility Study lasting for 6 months.
Mr. Christos Drogitis, the patent owner of the LIGHTHOUSE technology, is an European example of entrepreneurship by excellence: the LIGHTHOUSE project was finally awarded for funding on the second attempt! On the first attempt, the proposal was scored only 10,98 out of 15.
Octopux Consulting also acts as a subcontractor during this 6-month project, supporting the Greek SME and Mr. Christos Drogitis in implementing an International Market Research and Competitor Analysis.
