On 16 December 2016 the Federal Council of Switzerland ratified the protocol on the extension of the free movement of persons to Croatia. This means, that from 1 January 2017 until 31 December 2020, Switzerland is fully associated to Horizon 2020 and research institutions, organisations and SMEs based in Switzerland are able to submit proposals to all Horizon 2020 calls, including the SME Instrument. Successful proposals will then be directly financed by the European Union.
If you as a Swiss partner intend to transfer your Horizon 2020 project to an institution outside Switzerland and/or intend to co-ordinate and submit a proposal under any Horizon 2020 call or the SME Instrument, please do not hesitate to contact us.
